Samuel Thompson, PLA.

I am a 2017 Graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture and a Minor in Sociology. I grew up in the Loess Hills of western Iowa. I developed an appreciation for the native environment and vegetation, enjoying treks around my family's 10-acre property and various camping adventures growing up. I developed an affinity for art, planning through maps, gaming, and exposure to my mother's picture framing business. As I got older, I learned more about people and our relationships with the natural world and ourselves. Through organizations like 4-H and High School Speech, I explored my interest across the Midwest.
